Some great deals are available on apartments in the city centre. If you are traveling solo, hostels are the go-to option without a doubt.

Budapest is one of the few places in Europe where one needs to be careful while traveling. Cases of pick-pocketing are not unheard of here. You should take care of your belongings in crowded areas like tourist spots and metros while traveling.
