I am not saying that these are the best travel movies on Netflix. This is the list of all the movies that you can stream on Netflix right now. Take note that I haven’t included documentaries of any kind in this list.
1. Before Sunrise: One of the Best Travel Movies on Netflix
This movie is actually a part of a trilogy – Before Sunrise, Before Sunset and Before Midnight. However, Netflix has only the first one. The movie describes a relationship between two travellers who meet on a training Europe.
While talking to each other in the lanes of Vienna, they share stories and form a beautiful connection. The reason I love this movie so much is that despite having a simple story, it displays human emotions in a very beautiful manner.

This is one of the most celebrated travel movies and also one of my favourites. The movie is based on the book Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, which I would highly recommend.
The movie takes you on the self-discovery journey of a woman as she goes off on her journey around the world. A must watch for all those who love to travel.

6. Into the Wild: Inspired by the true story of an American hiker
The movie is based on a true story of an American hiker, Christopher Johnson McCandless, also known by the pseudonym Alexander Supertramp.
The story chases Christopher as he sets out on a road trip through the USA before ending up in Alaska. If I say anything beyond that, it would be a spoiler! Watch it if you haven’t already.

Although the movie is about Tibet; it has been shot in Argentina and British Columbia. It is a wonderful movie that gives an insight into the Tibetan and Buddhist cultures.
